Building Back Home From Outside Kashmir: Getting Your Windows Done Right

In short
If you are building in Kashmir from outside, use one team that measures, fabricates and fits, so you are not coordinating separate people. Approve types, sizes and finishes over WhatsApp and video, ask for photos at each stage, and have a family member or your mason present on survey and fitting days.
Many of the houses going up in Kashmir are being built by people who are not here most of the year: working in Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai or the Gulf, and building a home to come back to. Windows are where long-distance building often goes wrong. Here is how to avoid that.
The problem with many hands
When one person measures, another supplies, a third fabricates and a fourth fits, every handover is a chance for mistakes, and nobody owns the result. From far away you cannot tell who to call.
That is why we keep it in one team: the people who measure your openings work alongside the people who fabricate and fit them.

How it works remotely
- Send drawings or photos. Your plans, or photos your mason takes of each opening with a tape across it.
- First estimate on WhatsApp. Based on your sizes and the types you want.
- Survey with you on video. We measure every opening on site; a family member or your mason is there, and we can video call you from the site.
- Written quotation. Every opening listed with type, glass, hardware, finish and price.
- Photos as we make it. From our plant, before delivery.
- Fitting and handover. Photos and a short video of each room when it is done.
Decisions to make from afar
- Which rooms are heated (double glazing)
- White or woodgrain outside
- French or sliding doors to the lawn and balconies
- Insect mesh for summer
Our product pages let you pick options and add them to a quote list you can send in one message.
Questions people ask
Can I approve my windows without being in Kashmir?
Yes. We share sizes, types, drawings and photos on WhatsApp, and can do a video call from the site during the survey.
Who should be on site when you measure and fit?
Ideally a family member or your mason, who knows the house and can answer questions about levels and finishes.
Will I get updates during the work?
Yes. We send photos at the main stages: survey, fabrication, delivery and fitting.
