One team from first measure to final fit

The people who measure your openings work alongside the people who cut, weld and fit your windows. This is how a Standard Fabtech window gets from your wall to our plant and back.

  1. Standard Fabtech measuring a window opening on site with a tapeSF/01
    01

    Survey

We come to the site and measure every opening: width, height, wall depth, sill and floor levels, and access. Nothing is made from guessed sizes.

  2. Standard Fabtech team going over window drawings and a quotation in the plantSF/02
    02

    Specify

We sit with your drawings and opening list and agree the type, panel layout, glass, mesh, grille, hardware and finish. You get a clear written quotation.

  3. VEKA uPVC profile being cut on a PRL machine in the Standard Fabtech plantSF/03
    03

    Cut

VEKA profiles are cut to your exact sizes in our own plant, and galvanised steel reinforcement is cut and fixed inside each length.

  4. Corner welding machine used to fuse uPVC window framesSF/04
    04

    Weld

Corners are fused on a welding machine, then cleaned so the joint is sealed and the corner is crisp.

  5. Finished VEKA uPVC frames on the assembly table in the plantSF/05
    05

    Assemble

Glass, beads, EPDM gaskets and hardware go in. Every unit is checked for size, movement and locking before it is wrapped.

  6. Standard Fabtech team installing large uPVC windows on a house in KashmirSF/06

    Fit & hand over

The same team delivers and fits: frames set, packed, fixed and sealed to the wall. We check every sash with you and show you how to use and clean it.

Inside the profile

More than a plastic frame

A good window is a complete assembly: multi-chamber VEKA profile, galvanised steel inside, welded corners, EPDM gaskets, the right glass and hardware that suits the sash. Then it has to be fitted and sealed properly.

  • Multi-chamber VEKA uPVC profiles
  • Galvanised steel reinforcement cut to each length
  • Fusion-welded, cleaned corners
  • EPDM gaskets and glazing beads
  • Hardware matched to the opening (PEGO can be specified)
