Terms of use and quotations
Last updated 28 October 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms cover your use of standardfabtech.com and set out the general basis on which Standard Fabtech ("we", "us") prepares estimates and quotations and carries out work. The written quotation you accept for your project, including any conditions written on it, forms the contract for that work. If it differs from these general terms, the written quotation applies.
2. Using this website
- Use the website lawfully and do not try to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it or misuse its forms.
- Information you send through the website must be accurate and yours to share.
- Links to other websites, such as WhatsApp or social media, are for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or policies.
- We may update, change or withdraw any part of the website at any time.
3. Product information and images
We describe our products and options as accurately as we can. Product renders, finish swatches and manufacturer reference images are labelled where they are illustrations; colours on screen are indicative. Technical descriptions are general guidance, not fabrication drawings. The profile system, glass, hardware, finish and sizes for your job are those stated in your written quotation. Please approve a physical sample of any woodgrain finish before we fabricate.
Our articles and guides are general information to help you plan. They are not a substitute for a site survey or professional structural advice.
4. Estimates and quotations
- Estimates given on WhatsApp, by phone or through the website are based on the sizes and information you provide. They are indicative and are not an offer.
- Written quotations follow a site survey and list each opening with its type, size, glass, hardware, finish and price, and what is included, such as removal of old frames, fitting and sealing.
- A quotation is valid for the period stated on it. Prices may change after that period, for example if material costs change.
5. Site survey and measurements
We fabricate to sizes we measure on site. If you ask us to fabricate to sizes you or your builder provide, you are responsible for those sizes. If the openings change after our survey, for example after plastering or flooring, tell us before fabrication; re-measurement or remaking may be charged.
6. Orders and approvals
An order is confirmed when you accept the written quotation in writing (including on WhatsApp) and pay any advance stated on it. Please check every opening, type, handing, glass, colour and quantity before you accept. Windows and doors are made to measure for your openings.
7. Prices and payment
Prices, applicable taxes, the payment schedule and accepted payment methods are as stated in your quotation and invoice. Work may be scheduled after the advance is received, and delivery or handover may depend on payments due at those stages.
8. Delivery and installation
We agree a schedule with you. Dates depend on the size of the job, site readiness, access, weather and other circumstances outside our control, so they are estimates unless the quotation states otherwise. We will keep you informed of any change. At handover we check each window and door with you and show you how to operate and look after them.
9. Your site and responsibilities
- Openings should be ready, square and to the agreed size, with heavy wet work finished.
- Provide safe access to the openings, a power supply and space to unload and store frames.
- Remove or protect furniture, curtains, valuables and fragile items near the work.
- Tell us about any hidden pipes, wiring or structural issues you know of.
- Making good of plaster, paint, tiles or finishes around the frame is not included unless the quotation says so.
10. Changes and cancellations
Ask for changes as early as possible. Changes after fabrication has started may be charged or may not be possible. Because each window is made to measure, an order cannot normally be cancelled once fabrication has begun; any refund of an advance follows the terms in your quotation and the cost of work already done and materials already ordered.
11. Warranty and after-sales
Warranty cover, its duration and what it includes are as stated in your written quotation and, where applicable, the manufacturers' warranties for the profile, glass and hardware. Cover does not usually extend to damage from misuse, forced operation, lack of the simple care described at handover, building movement or structural defects, alterations by others, or extreme events.
Condensation depends on room humidity, temperature and ventilation. Our windows reduce it but cannot prevent it in every condition, and condensation on room-side glass is not a defect. Moisture between the panes of a sealed unit is a defect we will look at.
For any after-sales issue, message us on WhatsApp with a photo or video and we will arrange an inspection.
12. Our liability
We are responsible for carrying out our work with reasonable care and skill and in line with your quotation. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with a project is limited to the price paid for that project, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or our liability where the law does not permit it to be limited.
13. Content and trademarks
The text, photographs, designs and logo on this website belong to Standard Fabtech or are used with permission or under their licences (credited where shown). Please do not copy them for commercial use without our written permission. VEKA, PEGO and other names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe products we work with.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a problem arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that cannot be settled will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir, without affecting any right you have to approach a consumer commission.
